MILOS structures provide the festival platform for soulful sounds and summer vibes at Abbey Park with SEL Live
Leicester’s beloved Abbey Park was transformed into a 3-day festival haven with an eclectic mix of musical genres from RnB, Reggae and Soul to feel good funky tunes from DJ Craig Charles alongside many more DJ’s and established artists including UB40’s Ali Campbell to Craig David and a soulful Sunday packed with sounds from Damage, Heather Small, Soul II Soul and Gabrielle.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of Abbey Park’s lawns, lakes and historic bandstand SEL Live delivered an unforgettable weekend of live music providing festival goers the perfect platform to soak up the spirit of summer in the heart of the city.
The SEL Live team have been providing full production support including staging, rigging, sound and lighting for the Park Series Festivals that are running across the UK this summer. The MILOS MR2K 12x10 roof structure at Abbey Park was supported by two 6x4 MILOS LSGO LED screen supports either side of the stage and one 6x4 MILOS LSGO LED screen support behind FOH delivering full video production and live stage feed throughout the event, ensuring audiences had an exceptional view at all times of artists on the stage.
The compact LED screen support structure with integrated ballast platform features quick, simple and secure assembly providing obstruction free viewing for audiences. Operated by SEL Live’s fleet of EXE Technology chain hoists with cantilever line array arms, the MILOS LSGO LED screen solutions are reliable and easy to implement and perfect for festival tight time restraints with set-up times and de-rigs, providing optimised mounting solutions.

The Park Series calendar continues this summer with Hitchin Priory and Leazes Park, Newcastle with headliners Ocean Colour Scene, UB40, The Twang, James Bay and Freya Ridings, just some of the names taking to the stage in July and August. The SEL Live team will once again be at the helm to deliver full onsite production for the Park Series festivals
