Gap in truss assembly

Gap in truss assembly

The first video for Milos’s 3 month promotional event for small and medium-sized structures can now be viewed here on the Milos website. In this first video, truss professional Marc Hendriks explains why there’s a gap between assembled trusses and the thinking behind this design. He defines the relevant parts of the coupling system, demonstrates how compression and tension function in assembled trusses, and clearly illustrates how the gap actually increases the safety of Milos structures.

The next video in this series will give an overview of the entire range of Milos small & medium-sized structures and will be available on 25 February 2016.
